Last updated: October 19, 2026
We read what users write about Microsoft 365 and Zoho Workplace on forums, review sites and official support pages, and picked the recurring complaints we can actually solve. Here is each complaint, its source, and what Yamama Super Office does today.
| What users complain about | In Yamama Super Office |
|---|---|
| Teams can't pause a recording, and Zoho Meeting users ask for itSource: Microsoft Q&A · G2 · Zoho Meeting | Meet ✓ Pause and resume recording; the recorded length excludes paused time. Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Y. |
| Teams intelligent recap needs the Teams Premium add-on; Zoho's AI meeting notes don't support ArabicSource: Microsoft Support · Zoho blog | Meet Docs and Sheets ✓ Arabic AI notes on the same points, then one click turns them into formal minutes in Docs (Gregorian and Hijri date, attendees, decisions, task table, sign-off) and the tasks into Sheets. |
| Turning an Excel sheet into a PowerPoint deck automatically is tied to a Copilot licenceSource: Microsoft Q&A | Sheets Slides ✓ “Turn into slides”: a title slide, a chart, key figures computed from your data, and table slides, opened in Yamama Slides. |
| Arabic punctuation lands on the wrong side in Word, and comments come out reversedSource: Microsoft Tech Community · Microsoft Q&A | Docs ✓ “Fix Arabic direction”: sets each paragraph's direction from its own text so the full stop and comma return to the right side; undo with Ctrl+Z. |
| Too complex, features buried in menus and settingsSource: G2 · Microsoft 365 · Capterra | All apps ✓ A command palette in all seven apps (Alt+Q): type what you want in Arabic or English and the command appears; if none matches, the assistant takes it. |
| Search in Teams doesn't find messagesSource: Microsoft Q&A · Reddit r/MicrosoftTeams | Meet ✓ Search inside the meeting chat that ignores hamza and taa-marbuta variants and highlights matches. It covers the open meeting's chat only. |
| Licensing is confusing: add-ons stacked on add-onsSource: Microsoft Learn · Reddit r/microsoft365 | Pricing ✓ The apps are free for writing, formatting and export, with no limits; AI runs on points in every app. |
| Arabic-Indic digits and Hijri dates are awkward in OfficeSource: Microsoft Q&A (ar-sa) · Microsoft Tech Community | Docs, Slides, Sheets ✓ A ٠١٢ ↔ 012 switch in Docs and Slides, and Hijri functions in Sheets. |

Where we are still behind
- No macro language (like VBA). The assistant runs multi-step actions in Sheets, but it is not a macro replacement.
- The Windows and Android apps are a light wrapper around the same app, not as deep as desktop Office. The Windows file isn't code-signed yet.
- No deep enterprise admin such as eDiscovery, data-loss prevention or device management.
- No large third-party integrations marketplace.
- Mail is a client for your existing mailbox (IMAP/SMTP or Gmail), not hosted mail on your domain like Exchange or Zoho Mail.
- We have tested meetings between two parties only. Large meetings haven't been measured yet.
